Wings of Change ~ Butterfly Sculpture Garden
Veterans' Voices 4 Art Project
2020 was an interesting year with significant world events that changed the way we do everything from business, to group events and our social lives. In keeping with the times, we have changed the way our Veterans' Voices group art exhibition moves forward. We created an outdoor exhibition space and a public art installation, promoting unity and inclusivity while serving our veteran and civilian communities.
More people can safely enjoy public art and become a part of the 'WINGS OF CHANGE BUTTERFLY SCULPTURE GARDEN'. This unity group art installation runs through 6/2021 at the Deprise Brescia Art Gallery 829 10th Street, Suite B Paso Robles, CA 93446.
FREE for veterans and their families, wooden butterflies are provided for painting in order to become a part of this larger than life public art installation. The only stipulation to participate is writing your positive vision for change on the wings of the butterfly as the underpainting. This is in accordance with the Hado work of Dr Masaru Emoto.
Outdoor patio painting is available by reservation Thursday thru Sunday from noon to 4pm through June 2021 at the Deprise Brescia Art Gallery, 829 10th Street Suite B Paso Robles, CA 93446. All materials provided free of charge for veterans and their families.
This open air patio setting rests under a canopy of trees surrounding the art gallery. The painted butterflies hang throughout the gardens and exterior spaces providing the ultimate selfie experience for everyone to enjoy. As the collection of butterflies grows and changes over the course of this evolving 10 month exhibition, the visual aspect is forever changing. In the late hours of the night the exhibition is lit up like Disneyland with lights and color, creating a magical experience for all to see.
