Veterans' Voices Are Building Bridges Through Art

As we continue building bridges through the arts, we are expanding our network of like minded organizations, artists and community leaders.  Together we are keeping our veterans in the arts alive.

We continue to build A Network of Veterans' Voices Partner

Thank you California Arts Council for assistance with the VIA grant and helping make the Veterans' Voices project possible.

Veterans in the Arts desires to address the needs and improve the lives of California’s veterans by increasing equity, access, and opportunities for veterans to participate in quality arts programming that is sensitive and responsive to their unique experiences.

The Veterans Art Project

VETART’s most basic mission is to teach, make, and share art. VETART’s down-to-earth, open-minded, actions-speak-louder-than-words culture is accessible and simple. VETART approaches art, and teaching art, believing that a society gains a vastly deepened network of visual/psychological power and cohesion by cultivating a visual artistic language that can be shared.

Angler's Anonymous

Anglers Anonymous logo

In 2011 we recognized a need for an organization that would share the therapeutic value of spending quality time with one another on the ocean. As our nation's veterans began returning from combat duty, with many injured in one way or another. As well as all of the men and women who served us over the years in previous conflicts we began our organization with a focus on taking veterans on a VIP fishing experience in the ocean followed by a tri tip bbq.
